4 Beautiful Cities in the UK that Everyone Should Visit

January 2, 2023 By Jonathan

The United Kingdom has always been an intriguing place. The fact that it has been playing a significant role in the political and cultural world scene may be the reason why so many people from all over the world want to experience life in those influential and beautiful cities in the UK.

You should keep in mind that the United Kingdom consists of four distinctive countries that retain their unique customs and traditions. Each city and village in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland is full of history, legends and awesome spots that make tourists think about spending months there in order to truly get to know them. A way to do just that in their limited holiday time is by renting a car. In this way, they get from one location to another fast without exhausting themselves walking there or stressing over the routes of different means of public transport —cell phones show the best route by car with a few taps at a specific time. You can save even more time if you rent your car on the Enjoy Travel website. There you will compare the available cars by major and trusted rental companies and book the best one for you online. No confusion and no wasting time on looking for a car during your holidays in the UK. What are some beautiful cities in the UK that everyone should visit?

City 1: London, England

You must have guessed that this would be the first item on our list, when you read the title of this article. The capital of England receives millions of visitors for business and pleasure purposes every year. It is the perfect destination for people who love the hustle and bustle of large cities. The options for culture and entertainment are endless there. You should definitely visit the legendary tourist attractions (e.g. Big Ben, London Eye, The British Museum, etc.) and also look for amazing secret spots that will help you get a better taste of the city.

City 2: Edinburgh, Scotland

An image of Edinburgh online is enough to make you fall in love with the place. Imagine the sensation it will make you feel if you see it live. Edinburgh is a huge mediaeval city where modern and old elements meet and create a romantic and breathtaking place. Castles, majestic hills, bloomed gardens and stunning buildings wait for you.

City 3: Bangor, Northern Ireland

Bangor is a coastal city in Northern Ireland that is totally worth a visit. The marina, the Castle Park, the North Down Museum and the nearby beaches are the major tourist attractions in the city. When you finish exploring Bangor, you can go to Belfast, the capital of the country, as they are very close.

City 4: Cardiff, Wales

We will end this list of beautiful cities in the UK with another capital. Cardiff is the capital of Wales, and it is definitely one of the most underrated places in the world. There are plenty of cool things to do in Cardiff, like visiting mediaeval castles, wandering around awesome flea markets, swimming in amazing beaches and so on. It is impossible not to have fun there.
